Spring time Sunday evening yoga class – Scaravelli Inspired

2015-07-07 20.43.33Bring energy, vitality, lightness and calm into your life.   In this yoga course, we explore postures in a mindful way, using the connectivity of gravity and breath according to the practice of Vanda Scaravelli. We also work with pranayama, yoga Nidra, and mudras.

The class is limited to 10 people. Available to women and men alike who want to practice in a small private group. General to intermediate ability.

Mats and blankets are provided.  You are welcome to bring socks, and extra blanket if you need.  Please bring some water to drink.

Arlene trained with Association of Independent Yoga Practitioners, John Stirk, Peter Blackaby who are her main teachers.  Arlene has been a pupil of Sandra Sabatini (who she has been working with for 25 years) and Monica Voss.  All inspiration and original teachers of Vanda Scaravelli.  She has a diploma from BWY level 4 (2014).  Her tutors were Elaine Fletcher and Wendy Harding.  She has been teaching for 23 years as a yoga teacher and almost 30 years as a massage practitioner.  She has a deep interest in movement and the body-mind connection.  She brings all her skill base into her teaching.
 
Arlene’s teaching is in an intuitive workshop way.  She brings in all her bodywork, dance, pilates and Scaravelli background to teach in a body/mind centered, constructive, aligning, healing and fun way.
 
Arlene is also a student of Yin Yoga with Jude Medhurst, so you may see some yin flow come into the class on occasion.
